        | Nafplion impresses its visitors with grand, medieval
architecture erected by the Venetians during the 15th century, a scenic
harbor, a picturesque center to explore on foot, and pebble beaches. In Nafplion, spend a delightful time strolling along the waterfront
and exploring around the main square and the narrow streets of the Old Town,
lined with a mix of Venetian, Turkish, Frankish, and Byzantine buildings.
Take time out to relax at one of the open-air restaurants and enjoy a local
snack or light lunch of seafood specialties.

Pier Information. Guests will be taken ashore via the ship's
tenders. The landing site is located near the town center. Taxis are
        generally available on the pier.
 Shopping.
Amalias Street, Constitution Square, and the waterfront area all house
small shops. Look for ceramics and traditional handicrafts. Greece has
strict laws regarding the export of antiques. Many shops close from 2 to
        5.
